Harder & Steenbeck airbrushes are designed and made in Germany, and are serious high-quality devices. They are the ones recommended by Vallejo for their paints.

They are designed to connect to a compressor (although we've managed to get one to work with canned air, using a mix of Harder & Steenbeck and Badger accessories, just to prove that it can be done !). The compressor should deliver air at 1.5-3 bar, with 2.5 bar as the optimum and 4 bar maximum. You will also need a hose with NW2.7mm connector to hook the airbrush up to the compressor.

The Focus is a gravity feed double-action model with self-centering 0.2mm nozzle and 2ml paint cup. Harder and Steenbeck quote the Focus their entry-level general-purpose airbrush, but it is still one of the best on the market.
