Customer Service

Shipping & Delivery
We normally aim to ship within one working day of receiving your order.  If you order something we have run out of (rare, but it does occasionally happen !) we'll let you know as soon as possible, with an idea of when we expect more stock and also working with you to find the solution that works best for you - it might be sending part of the order with the rest following when stock arrives, or holding it until we can send the whole order in one go.  Our key goal is to make you happy !
Privacy & Security
We take your privacy very seriously !  See our Privacy Policy page for full details.  In terms of security, we do all we can to ensure our website and checkout are secure; if they aren't, our customers can't buy anything and we can't pay the mortgage, which is probably the best motivation for us that there is !
Returns & Replacements
Our aim is to have happy customers !  But the world isn't perfect, and occasionally something you buy might have a fault or might not be exactly what you expected.  We firmly believe that the best solution is communication !  Let us know what the problem is using the "Contact Us" form you can find on every page of our website, and we will work with you to find a solution.  We aim to meet or exceed the requirements of the UK Distance Selling Regulations; see our Terms & Conditions page for full information.
Ordering
There are two ways to order through our website. The first is by clicking the item name to go to the item's individual page, where clicking "Add to cart" will add the item to your shopping cart and take you to the cart. The second is by hovering over the item image (or image place-holder for items where we haven't yet added the image) and clicking the "Quick View" button which appears. Clicking "Add to Cart" in Quick View will add the item to your cart but then return you to the item page. Please note that orders are only confirmed and our inventory adjusted at the point of payment, items in the cart shouldn't be considered to be "held" for you.
Payment, Pricing & Promotions
We accept several forms of payment; credit or debit card processed through WorldPay, Paypal (from many but not all countries), and cheque/Postal Order (from UK customers only). Customers collecting orders in person are welcome to pay with cashy, of course ! Although we do our best to keep our prices as competitive as possible, we reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Prices for all items shown on the site include VAT at the current UK rate; this will be removed at checkout stagte for customers outside the EU. We periodically set up promotions, and may advise some of our customers of dedicated discount codes. These are entirely at our discretion, and we reserve the right to terminate any promotion, which may be without warning if we become concerned that it could be subject to misuse.
Viewing Orders
While visiting our site, your current order is held in your shopping cart and can be updated, added to, or changed by you. The shopping cart uses cookies, and clearing your cookies (always worth doing periodically !) will also clear your shopping cart. Your shopping cart will also be cleared once you confirm an order. If you have an account, your orders will be stored by us (without any cookies being placed on your computer) and can be viewed by logging into the account.
Updating Account Information
You don't have to register an account to shop on our site ! If you are a regular customer, however, you are welcome to create one. We won't sell your details to anyone wanting to market to you. You should be able to edit most account information yourself, but if you find something you cannot edit, feel free to contact us for help. We don't have access to your password, but do have the ability to re-set them if required. If you decide you want us to delete your account, we will do this if requested by you using the email address registered to the account. Note that for your own protection, we may ask security questions likely to only be known by the account holder in order to confirm that you have the right to access account information or request changes.
